Osher Institutes Learning through Baseball

Spring has arrived, and with it, the start of baseball season. Many Osher Institute members share a passion for sports, and baseball in particular with a high level of interest in learning about the many different facets of baseball or experiencing baseball in a different way.Baseball Bat
As demonstrated in the recent course offerings listed below, from history, to films, to literature, there are a variety of approaches to the subject of baseball that inspire curiosity in OLLI members. While you can’t steal first base, the potential for learning and socializing both in the classroom and at the field are a great reason to design curriculum or a trip that suits your local Osher Institute community.
